Branson Back from Africa!

Branson, Lochter's male osprey returned from his African Safari on the 5th of April, and immediately set about rebuilding the nest which he shares with his female companion. The winter has blown a lot of the sticks down from the nest but Branson has been gathering up materials and making the best comfortable for his wife who normally comes up 3 weeks after him.

He has already demonstrated his fishing skills by catching several plump rainbow trout from the aptly name Opsrey Loch.

Customers in the Conservatory Restaurant have the opportunity to watch the live footage of the Opsreys in the nest on the wide screen HD TV whilst enjoying a relaxing coffee or lunch. This is an unique opportunity for customers to see the Ospreys in their natural habitat.
